AAU’s objectives for quality assurance and development of programmes

The overall purpose of Aalborg University’s quality assurance and development is to ensure that all programmes at the university are continuously developed in line with the university’s current strategy, including educating highly qualified and engaged graduates with strong academic and social skills.

More specifically, the university’s system for quality assurance and development aims to:

• Ensure that the university meets international standards for the quality of its programmes
• Ensure ongoing and systematic quality development of the university’s programmes
• Ensure continuous quality in teaching across the university’s programmes
• Contribute to graduates acquiring relevant qualifications and finding employment within fields demanded by the labour market
• Ensure clear leadership ownership of quality work at all levels of the organisation
• Strengthen and integrate the university’s evaluation and quality culture across all levels and units of the organisation
